To see the years slip ever faster
Once upon a time
And as I had now wandered past her
Scent awakening my mind
To once a beautiful encounter
Moves by without a glimpse
And leaves me silent staring lonely
Shift in time with just a hint
Of what it was
And what it isn't
And what it shall not
Be again

Of elusive pursuits
That often slip away
Chasing after them
So much to say
Freedom escapes
Upon each open door
Enemies focus
And dreams are no more

A lonely alley awaits
The struggling thoughts
She wonders as she seeks
A path to reach her calm
Quiet in her peacefulness
Dreaming
A new love will come
One with tenderness
For her to submit
And finally allow herself
To be the fruit
Of his conquer

For all I have accomplished
And all of which I've failed
To end up where I am today
From where I have been
I question of where I was put
Could it have been
This rabbit's foot?

From where I have been
To where I aspire
And where I am now
I will not retire
To reach my unlimited
Goals of my ascent
Where only the top
Could end any descent
