I missed your post last week. Couldn't find it to log on. Anyway, I really liked this one, reading it out loud had such a nice flow. What a nice thought, to come back as someone's pillow! Lovely!
In the course of creating myself in the image my father had envisioned, I present myself a seasoned man of power and strength with a penchant for wordsmithing. Although I have seen the darker side of life as an oppressed underpriviledged black man, I have also seen the beauty of the words created in a labyrinth of colorful beauty where only the enlightened may see the inner depth of the soul who has connected them. Alas I am here to bring the inner seeds of my existence and share in the joys I endeavor to project through my poetry.
Seeing heaven in that special person. A romantic and poetic piece. I enjoyed this a lot Luther.

ReplyDeleteShort, yet very deep...I loved "a breeze through a willow".
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely poem. I like the strength to re-invent the narrator that is found in the lines.
ReplyDeleteWay sexy. I love it.
ReplyDeleteThis rolls quite nicely. I like the lighter touch of reincarnating as an inanimate object, close to the soul of a beloved.
