Oppressive Fluid

It has been called a substance
Exhibit twenty nine
To scientifically report
The fluids would be mine
But what of science and the law
Be fully circumspect
I looked and knew of what I saw
A loss of all respect
Convictions of a racist band
Of devils in disguise
I offer each my willing hand
And look them in their eyes
For one fine day I will arrive
To greet these evil men
Who endeavor to deprive
Beg mercy will they then

Seek Freedom

It is but a fleeting thought
To take for granted such nature
Of freedom and liberty to go
Upon our way for life
Without benefit of empathy
To take from others unaware
To witness their despair
Evidence take away freedom
A single strand of hair
Years will pass with thoughts of when
He could have left behind
This incarceration within a pen
His freedom he could find

Working Man

I struggle to create
But others do to take
My fashion is copied by group elite
And racist cover copies
Alas my ideas worth to many
But to me they offer none
For taking what was been done by me
Shall see you to your end

They Know Not

The pain and suffering we must endure
Their hatred of us for it
They know not of our tireless struggle
And step upon us anyway
For they have not been to where we go
Or seen the agony in our eyes
They see beyond our twisted fears
But neglect our fleeting cries
Our blood means nothing to their lives
They sentence us to years
My pain oozes from my pores
And sweat devours my tears
My freedom is of no consequence
I melt away from years

Trash Day

It's trash day in the neighborhood
Me and Lemuel take our walk
He points to where he laid her down
And bit her clean pink gut
I lift the cover heavily
We toss the bags inside
We envy for her lifelessness
Beyond the walls she rides

Rain

The saddness of a rainy day
I plead for where I go
I summon for a passing ride
They see invisible
To them I do implore my rage
Splashed and weary wet
Lean into her now broken vent
She moves aside with ease
I hold her tight against her door
She begs me Mister Please
Lights flash behind us now
She loses time from me
We open up the speeding door
She quickly disappears
Her tumbled mass a speed bump now
And I lose ten more years

Longing For Her

Longing for the love that sends me here
Longing for her touch and an ice cold beer
Longing for the grill and her chicken fired
Longing to be free from this hell mired
Longing for the love I inject upon her
Longing to devour as I lay beyond her
Longing to be free and send her away
Longing for another satisfying day

Beat Down

A missent glare
Beaten down
Cameras watch
Domed mirrored stare
Bloodied strikes
Payment pending
Mens heads pool
Crushed and bending

Of Shadows Cast

When we are coming up
And serve the rules of men
Before us
We develop our own
Place our trusts
Bury the tools
We share and hone
Go forth and find
Our Mother's kind
At mailroom lines
And troubled times
For those behind
That venture trying
Befall the same
Their fathers trials
We come to pass
Of police blasts
Didn't do nothing
But shadows cast

Swift Racist Justice

Of courts and judges I summon a plea
Why the system has focused on me
For I have done what any man would have done
And forced by my race to go on the run
Witnesses and rats an unlikely foe
And justice for blacks unbearably slow
But my brothers in arms have shown me the way
And for ratting me out they shall all rue the day
Alphonso Dzee have reckoned their stature
When I am released they shall witness the rapture

Parole Mentor

He gives me knowledge for when I get out
But tells me to chill as he shows me his doubt
For his time is mine as we live out our lives
With positive hopes as the end soon arrives
Before a board of racists we face
Twenty five to life our unfortunate dates
But alas years go by in increasing haste
And our time we make up for what we would waste

Terminal Brothers

I met brother Lemme when I first arrived
He spoke of the years he's had to survive
The injustice of evidence thrown in his face
Humiliating searches in the darkest of space
But under his wing and guidance from age
We share together our focus of rage
Where we are taken from our prime of life
And forced to endure this oppressive strife
For it was not our own that got us in here
But rather an unfounded racist fear
That our lives are worth less for the color of skin
Of which defines the trouble we in
Thin evidence of hate we see in the court
Our unfair detainment they never report

Breakfast In Bed

For I am here and cannot depart
My morning is spent; my meal where I start
Through the slot on a sectioned steel platter
The cart in the foyer a noisy loud clatter
Bacon and eggs religious disgrace
Is all I can get from this miserable place
But I save the meat and devour the eggs
And use the bacon on my enemy dregs
For we lack any weapons against all our foe
But unlikely treasure like this can put on a show
For lunch I am led to my own cavity
And throw my bacon with depravity
For inmates get pork while others get feces
Officers of law the unlucky species

Lemuel

We are but children when we arrive
See each other through babies eyes
Under a wing we need our shelter
He tried to feel, he finally felt her
For years he made his way alone
Took her for his very own
She loved him dearly but was taboo
For her to do what she would do
He helped her see her inner sanctum
When he was done she truly thanked him
But Lemuel knew what he must muster
Fold her up into the dumpster
Biting fear injustice lingers
For Lemuel it will ring years

Law Librarian

She thinks she stands above me there
Her pen lodged firmly in her hair
With stern reproach she holds me back
Unaware she changes track
And releases me unto the books
Of legal knowledge with glaring looks
She points her finger to beware
Not knowing I'm about to share
The warmth and tenderness that she lacks
In subtle backroom fierce attacks

Prison Halls

Though I sit incarcerated I am free
From the perils of life that have entangled me
Apart from the evils in which I was caught
Above all the wrong this existence hath wrought
But still encircled by the hatred of many
I fight to the death the injustice they send me
For devils prevail within thick cement walls
To batter against me in dimly lit halls
I fall to the feet of no man of this prison
But rage at the penalties of which I am given
And if a day comes when I am then challenged
A fate shall befall him a brutal last balance

Racial Invisibility

It's tough for a brother to get some love
From a system of people not sent from above
Electronic passage awaits eons of time
For some racist collective to release my rhyme
I sit in a rage of violent contention
Develop myself a new means of invention
To combat injustice and blind deliverance
Like a child left alone in obstructed envisions
But return me my faith in a flawed awkward system
Belief to my sense that my work will be with them
And send me on high to drop upon masses
Of levels of love across multitude classes

Joy Ride

I seek to drive away my pain
To step off the curb into the lane
Pull the car and ask to use
Without leaving any clues
They fight to stay but I am stronger
We quickly make them breathe no longer
I cruise to freedom I see the light
And drive on deep into the night
The man is unaware to see
His witnesses lie next to me
Into the town emerging from the fog
I'm free at last another cog
In a wheel of doubt and unjust pursuit
And taking an unlikely route
Where nobody can see what I have done
With vengence a mask and a gun
They will seek when I retreat
As I disappear out to the street

Incarcerary Warmth

We lock in tight and see each other
He is new; he is my brother
His graceful stroll along the tiles
The man walks him the first long mile
He is greeted with charm; greeted with cheers
Greeted by many beyond his years
I know right off he will be mine
In times as this we are inclined
We toss aside stigmatic fear
A black man knows what he must endear
To make the step for worthy lust
And survive a world racially unjust
To the yard we go to make our measure
Discovering our implied shared treasure
Lights out now we make advances
With the Man awake we take our chances
Of agonony screams our first encounter
I dream of her and how I'd pound her
We roll away; we've made our connect
For each time more lest they detect
The rigors of love in concrete cells
Such is the pain of Luther Spells

Chance Encounter

She gazes across the crowded store
I see her child run free
But of a glance I take the boy
And set him far away
To create a panic as I go
And liberate her from her pain
I take her to my loving lair
And give to her my warmth
She struggles to regain her breath
I close the passageway
We mingle amongst the leafy bush
She slowly fades away
As I arise and briskly flee
I remember the boy that I set free
To leave in wonder; to risk the pain
I released the boy in subtle candor
And left to find my next chance encounter.

Canal Street Slag

My thirst consumes me as I venture out
Within my vest I begin to doubt
Do I crave berries; do I crave stout?
Do I have the tools to pull this out?
Under the porch in the neighborhood
Community tools for the greater good
Retrieve the gat and pull my mask
Burst the doors I hear them gasp
Empty the drawer into my bag
Grab my drink and quick to slag
Meet my boyz out on the streets
Share with them my bountiful treats
Left behind two bloody shells
Teach them to say no to Luther Spells

Geometric Mathematics

In the Universe there can only be
One to see one which we
Set free and watch flee from thee
But words are just a mans disease
A means to please
A vice to squeeze
In all creation there lives
Only one that gives
For shivs to wake us from our slumbers
The universal voice of numbers
Ones and zeroes can be our heroes
To light the sky of by and by
And bring us nigh with a mighty sigh
Alas we speak and not of Greek
We hear a creek; A bird's beak
It mutters asunder of ritual thunder
Cool cucumber it calls our number

Snap

To which we most depend upon
Has suddenly been rendered gone
And from the dark we will prevail Add Image
To cast beyond this lofty tale
Of brothers once begot of fear
In heat of night; in dead of year
We go about to seek our bounty
Open now within our county
The things we have once been denied
On whom we could not have relied
Yet here we see with baskets pleasure
And slink away; we hold our treasure
None will try to stop our journey
Lest he end up on a gurney
Slashed beyond the values worth
Drowning in a sea of mirth
And gurgling blood the only sound
To wish oneself had not abound.

Jugular Lessons

We wonder through our means of science
For which our blood would have reliance
Across the throat of worthy flesh
Held to the face a wire mesh
He comes upon my teathered act
And watches as I make my pact
The screams of love silence his wonder
Her warmth within I sternly plunder
Beneath her head I lay a flower
Her burning hair I will devour
But still he waits to make his move
To see the acts upon her groove
She reaches up; she takes a breath
He finally smells the scents of death
He moves to take my power from me
I raze his throat; He drops to drum me
With furtive stealth I go off in harkness
And disappear into the darkness.

Scathing Pains

To whom do I owe this debt of love
To what I owe from far above
Of where we climb to be withheld
And honor be listed as we are felled
Rejoice he says as we are beaten
Our last meal yet to be eaten
I see my path a darkened hall
Windowed cave received by all
To strap into my seat of shock
And hear the ominous turn of the lock
A call to beg for someone's mercy
No luck to find here in New Jersey
But hear me when it comes to pass
I went with valor; I went with class.

Instinctive Beginnings

A man can never be so bold
To bring upon for I behold
The day with which we come asunder
And open hearts with joy and wonder
Alas I share with you to see
New ways to open up and be
The men we wish to follow on high
But bring us but a hollow sigh
