Beyond the Wall

Beyond the wall lay years of loss
Unreturnable forever
And at what steep and deadly cost
For what has been endeavored
But soon I will break down this pain
And venture back to freedom
For all of those who have been slain
For those who would believe them
A creeky gate with rusty keys
An escort to the entrance
And withered souls so worn as these
No vision of repentance

  1. Years of loss. Make me weary. With longing and wear. How to retrieve them. Never. The cost too great.
only the next step...and the next.

For all of those who have been slain.
    I believe them!!!!
